Betyár Csárda in Chemnitz

For me the best restaurant in town. Outstandingly delicious Hungarian food at reasonable prices.

Always tasty, always fresh and always friendly! And nice ambience. Unfortunately, we are far too seldom in Chemnitz and live far away, but we visit the Betyár Csárda every time we stay in the city. If you like Hungarian food, you won't be disappointed here and if you don't know it yet, you should try it here. And then you won't want to miss anymore!

The restaurant has been on our to-do list for a while. Luckily we made a reservation and got a nice table outside. The children's starter (langos) was good, my baked mushrooms out. Both main courses (Betyar plate and pork tenderloin) did not quite meet our expectations. It was ok, but somehow nothing special either. The price-performance ratio is better at other restaurants. Therefore only 4 stars. We will definitely come back again, but we definitely haven't found a new favorite restaurant.

Friendly staff. The postponement of the reservation was possible without any problems. The waitress was always there and was able to make almost every request possible.

Very tasty Hungarian cuisine, all of our dishes were very tasty and special requests such as "slightly spicy" were still perfectly prepared and everything tasted great. Our waiter was very friendly and we were able to sit outside. There are enough parking spaces. Payment by card is also possible here without any problems. The price-performance ratio is great and we would love to come back.

The workforce was straightforward, well-groomed and nice, and the restaurant is truly extremely stylishly furnished. No cheap decoration, but there was a lot of harmonious colors, where it never happened to me that a dish came cold on the table. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired, I haven't been so fascinated by a restaurant in a long time.

Outstanding service! Delicious food. The dessert was even spread on 2 plates with additional decoration. We would like to come again!

Friendly innkeeper in a typical Hungarian restaurant. Very very tasty dishes at a good price-performance ratio. Comfortably furnished restaurant with opportunities to sit outside. Everything neat and clean. Apparently recommendable for spontaneous visits (certainly only in the low season)

The food is delicious and the menu has something for everyone. Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. You can sit outside in the heat. Advance booking is definitely advisable.

Had a goulash soup as a starter, which was great in taste, meat, etc. was sufficient ... 😀 The main course was chicken breast fillet with rice and garlic sauce ... Good taste ... Geschmack ... but unfortunately appeared a little "colorless" on the plate, despite the small "green decoration" 😕 Conclusion: It is definitely worth trying, and then the tastes are all different anyway ... 😉
